Giacomo Del Chiappa, PhD is Associate Professor of Marketing at the Department of Economics and Business, University of Sassari (Italy). Giacomo teaches in the areas of tourism marketing & management, destination management and retail marketing. He is Senior Research Fellow at the School of Tourism & Hospitality, University of Johannesburg (South Africa), track chair/referent person for the research area Tourism, Culture and Arts Marketing of the Italian Marketing Association (SIM), and Associate Editor for the journal “European Journal of Tourism Research”. His research is mainly related to destination management, sustainable tourism, consumer behavior in tourism and digital marketing.
