Alessandro Piergallini is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Rome “Tor Vergata”, where he teaches Macroeconomics. His research is concerned with monetary and fiscal policies. He has published articles in «Macroeconomic Dynamics», «Economic Inquiry», the «Journal of Population Economics», «Economics Letters», the «International Journal of Economic Theory», the «Berkeley Journal of Macroeconomics», and «Applied Economics».
He is Member of the Academic Board of the Ph.D in Economics, Law and Institutions at Tor Vergata University, the Euro Area Business Cycle Network, the Italian Economic Association and the Scottish Economic Society.
