Luis Filipe Lima e Silva holds a degree in Letters (qualification in Linguistics) from the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (2013), and a Master’s degree in Linguistics Studies from the same institution (2016). Currently, he is a PhD student in Linguistics. He has experience in linguistic analysis, with emphasis on Theoretical and Descriptive Linguistics, working mainly on the following topics: spoken syntax, pragmatics, and spontaneous speech corpora, in the C–ORAL–BRASIL research group. His major research interests is on syntax, grammaticalization, probabilistic models in Linguistics, corpora, Brazilian Portuguese, and Spanish.
