Montserrat Ubach Tarrés is founder and president of the “Darwin Foundation” (Barcelona, Catalunya, SP) and director of the Centre for Adoption, Conservation and Recovery of Marmosets and Tamarins (CITES) which collaborates with Seprona (Spanish Nature Protection Service) and other local governments and authorities for wildlife protection. She has a degree in psychology from the University of Barcelona, and is a journalist and filmmaker specialising in portrayal of wildlife. For 5 years she was a member of the Commission of Animal Experimentation of the Regional Government of Catalonia on behalf of the animal rights organisations.
