Anikó Grad-Gyenge studied musicology at the the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music between 1997 and 2003 and graduated from the faculty of Law of the Eötvös Loránd University in 2004, where she earned a PhD in 2010 in the field of copyright. Between 2003 and 2010 she dealt with copyright legislation and legal harmonization at the Ministry of Justice and Law Enforcement, and since 2007 she was the head of the department responsible for the area. From 2010, she is the advisor of ProArt Hungarian Copyright Alliance. She has been a member of the hungarian Copyright Expert body, she was the legal lead of implementing Creative Commons and European Public License in Hungary. From september 2010, she worked as a lecturer at the department of Civil law and Roman law at the Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church, and later as an associate professor and head of department. She has taught at Eötvös Loránd University faculty of Law, the Bibó István College, the University of Pécs, and as a guest lecturer at several other universities. She is currently head of the department of Business law at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, habilitated associate professor, vice–dean responsible for innovation affairs. She has currently 151 publications in hungarian and foreign languages, primarily in the fields of copyright, industrial property and media law.
