Michele Di Marco is an architect with a master in Disaster management with more than six years of experience in the humanitarian and development sector. He has been the director of Emergency Architecture & Human Rights (EAHR), an international no profit organization with headquarters in Copenhagen, Rome and Santiago de Chile for three years.
In the last six years he was involved in humanitarian and development operations in South America, the MENA region and Asia. He is currently lecturing in the Master Emergency & Resilience at the Università IUAV di Venezia. Besides, he is currently overseeing a resettlement project in South America, reconstruction of education facilities in Nepal, Jordan and Lebanon and is involved in a research project on the reconstruction of Syria.
