Vincenzo Caracciolo is a full-time researcher in particle physics. He holds a MSc in Physics (nuclear and subnuclear physics) and a PhD in Physics (particle physics) from the University of L'Aquila. He is a particle physicist studing rare processes in underground laboratories, as the Gran Sasso National Laboratory. He works on the DAMA experiments since 2010. In particular, he collaborates to study the Dark Matter of the Universe, the double beta decay in various isotopes, different rare nuclear processes, using Scintillation, Ionization or Bolometric detectors. He has experience in: neutrino physics in LAr detectors, development/characterization of new detectors, development of Monte Carlo simulation, DAQ system, data analysis software.
