Marco Ceravolo
MARCO CERAVOLO is pursuing his PhD in Italian Literature at the University College Cork, with the support of a Government of Ireland Postgraduate Scholarship of the Irish Research Council.
His research project examines the role of animals in the works of Federigo Tozzi, Dino Buzzati and Anna Maria Ortese, and his fields of interest are ecocriticism, ecofeminism, animal studies and posthumanism.
At UCC he also teaches Italian as a Second Language. He attended conferences in Italy and abroad, and publishedarticles on topics surrounding Contemporary Italian Literature on journals, newspapers and blogs, such as altrelettere, Italian Studies in Southern Africa, Altre modernità, Aracne ed., Nazione Indiana, inter alia.
