Agapios Abu Saada was born in 1977, in Beit Sahour - (Palestine). He entered the Basilian Order of the Most Holy Saviour (Lebanon) in 1995 and obtained a B.A. in Philosophy and Theology (1997-2002) at the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik (Lebanon).
He was ordained a priest in 2002. He obtained the Licentiate in Biblical Theology at the Pontifical Gregorian University in 2008 (Rome). He was ordained «Archimandrite» (Monsignor) in the Archdiocese of Acre and the rest of Galilee in 2009.
He obtained the Doctorate in Biblical Theology at the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik, securing for his dissertation on John’s Gospel summa cum laude with high marks. He has also written several books on Biblical, Theological and Liturgical topics. At present he is the Regional Administrator of his Order in the Holy Land and the Parish Priest of the Melkite Catholic Community in Haifa (Israel).
