Claudia Frisenna is Assistant Professor in Accounting at the Department of Economics and Business of the University of Catania, where she teaches Financial Accounting, Financial Statement Analysis, and Business Valuation. She received her PhD in Economics, Management and Statistics from the Univer- sity of Messina and has held a visiting position at the Melbourne Institute of Technology. Her research interests include financial reporting quality and governance mechanisms in listed family firms, with a particular focus on boards of directors and auditing. She is a member of the editorial board of the scientific journal «Management Decision». Her research has been presented at national and international conferences and published in scientific journals such as «The International Journal of Accounting», «Journal of Management and Governance», and «Management Control».
