\n\nHer research focuses on both the Old English and Middle English periods.
\nIn particular, she worked on a parallel reading of the Exeter Book Riddles and the Wonders of the East as different perspectives exploring the relationships between humans, animals, and intermediate creatures, resulting in the monograph Riddles and Wonders: Defining Humanity in Anglo-Saxon England (Peter Lang, 2023).

\n\nShe has also researched the Galfridian historical tradition.
\nShe has written on Laȝamon’s late twelfth-century poem Brut, studying it from a number of angles, such as the portrayal of King Leir and the development of supernatural characters and situations in the Arthurian sections, while also examining the later development of the material, in particular the Arthurian narratives in the textual transmission of the Prose Brut chronicles.

\n\nMore recently, her research interests have shifted towards the literary aspects of the Arthurian tradition, with particular emphasis on the analysis of representations of the character Morgan le Fay in Middle English literature
