Ph.D., is currently a post–doctoral researcher on the topic “New plant varieties and seed security: the role of agricultural innovation for sustainable food systems” and a lecturer in Agricultural Law at the University of Macerata, Italy. She is alsoan Italian qualified lawyer, particularly focused on agri–food law. Her main fields of study are plant variety protection, the regulation of Gmos and the legislation on marketing of plant reproductive material.
