Chi Sheng Liu

PhD student in Management at the University of Rome Tor Vergata, School of Economics. His research interests include tourism, innovation, entrepreneurship, sustainability, and service management. Through his work, he explores how digital transformation and knowledge sharing can enhance competitiveness and well-being in organizations and destinations.
Alongside his academic path, Chi Sheng actively promotes innovation and entrepreneurship in Italy, serving as Social Media Manager for PNICube, the national network for university-based entrepreneurship, and for Start Cup Lazio, the regional business plan competition supporting innovative ideas from research. He is also Secretary of the Scientific Committee of ASSIDEMA, the Italian Association of Destination Managers, and the PhD students’ representative in the University Quality Presidium at Tor Vergata.
Chi Sheng’s professional and academic journey reflects a deep commitment to connecting research, education, and practice. His participation in international conferences, including the European Association for Research on Services (RESER) and the Knowledge Management International Conference, highlights his engagement in shaping the dialogue between academia and the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Fluent in English, Italian, and Chinese, he believes that innovation arises from cross-cultural collaboration and that sustainable growth depends on integrating social responsibility into management and tourism development.
