Gabriele Casano is Research Fellow in Economic and Political Geography at the Department of Political and International Sciences of the University of Genoa. He has been Research Affiliate at the Department of Earth and Climate Science of the University of Nairobi. He collaborates with various research centres and foundations, engaging in scientific and cultural projects. His main interests include the relationship between territorialisation processes and resilience in rural contexts, spatial implications of climate change, challenges associated with different forms of human mobility, international cooperation from a geographical perspective, and regional integration processes in Europe and Africa.
