Concetta Maria Sigona, MA and PhD, is a full-time lecturer in English Studies, teaching English language, cultures and literatures. She also holds a postgraduate degree in foreign language teaching. She has more than 20 years’ experience in all levels of education. She has participated in several international projects. Her research focuses on Italian Canadian literature in English and intercultural studies as well as strategies in English language teaching and learning (EFL). Other areas of interest are: the use of Technology in the English language learning (EFL) process; English language and culture teacher training.
