Coralia Costas PhD, is the head of the Projects, and Programs Department of the ”Moldova” National Museum Complex of Easy Romania. Previously, she was involved in the UNESCO/ Japan Trust Fund Project for the Restoration of the Probota Monastery in Suceava County, Romania, which is among the mediaeval monasteries with exterior frescoes listed on the World Heritage List. She has a book and numerous papers on art interpretation, as well as the cultural and digital mediation of tangible and intangible cultural heritage to her credit. Has also translated papers on archaeology, ethnography, conservation-restoration, and museum studies into French and English. She is among the pioneers in Romania to incorporate informatics into the mediation of cultural heritage. Dr. Costas has served as a juror at the International Conference on Museums Informatics and actively participates in projects aimed at fostering connections between children, youth, and museums.
