Jayapradeep M. holds a PhD in Fisheries Informatics from Karpagam University, Coaimbatore. Has served the Indian Air Force, the Biotechnology Information Centre (Govt of India), Kerala Agricultural University, and Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences. He is Director (Publications) at the Centre for Informatics Research and Development (CIRD). His areas of interest include ICT applications, knowledge management, and extension activities. His published works include the book Fisheries Information System and numerous research papers and popular articles on agriculture, fisheries and library legislation.
