Carlos López is a civil engineer from the Technological Institute of Sonora (1987–1991). He holds a Master’s degree in Economic and Financial Engineering from La Salle Noroeste University (1999–2001) and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Tecnológico de Monterrey, Cd. Obregón campus (2012–2014). He holds a PhD in Projects from the American University of Europe (UNADE), in 100% online mode (2022–2025). Professionally, he was an independent engineer (1992–2004) and an independent contractor (2004–2006). Since 2006 he has been the owner and director of Desarrollos Enkares, S.A. de C.V.. He has been a professor of Project Evaluation at ITSON and Tec de Monterrey (2001–2006), and a full professor of the Master’s Degree in Construction Management Engineering at ITSON (2003–2006).
