My research is located at the interface of differential geometry, nonlinear functional analysis and differential equations, covering as well genuine aspects of Pseudo-Riemannian geometry (cf my article with Boris Botvinnik about Cheeger-Gromov convergence, leading to a full proof of the long-standing concordance conjecture, and two of my articles about holonomy theory) as well as hard global existence results in PDE theory (cf my article about Lorentzian minimal surfaces published in Annals of Global Analysis and Geometry and my prepublished article about the small initial value problem for Dirac-Higgs-Yang-Mills systems on globally hyperbolic manifolds, cf below). The central question of my research are initial-value and Cauchy problems, often on the geometric background of globally hyperbolic manifolds.
