Jayanta Kumar Sarma is a professor in the Department of Physics in the Tezpur University. In the 1988 he got the master degree in the Gauhati University and in the 1994 he obtained the Ph.D. in the same university.
His research interests are: Quantum chromodynamics, Hadron and Lepton structures, Parton distribution functions, Small-x physics and History of science. He pubblished 27 papers in refereed journals and 13 in papers in conference proceedings and archieves.
