Zahari Zlatev received his MSc from the Sofia University and his PhD from the SPBU - Saint Petersburg University. He is an emeritus senior scientist at the Department of Environmental Science of Aarhus University (Roskilde, Denmark). He developed with other co-workers the Unified Danish Eulerian Model (UNI-DEM), used by scientists of several European countries in many environmental and climate change studies. He also participated in many scientific projects. Zahari Zlatev started to write historical novels after 2008. He published five novels with the TRUD Publishing House (Sofia) in Bulgarian language.
