Andrew Mangham is the author of Violent Women and Sensation Fiction: Crime, Medicine and Victorian Popular Culture (2007), editor of Wilkie Collins: Interdisciplinary Essays (2007), and coeditor, with Greta Depledge, of The Female Body in Professional Encounter (2009). He currently holds a lectureship at the University of Reading, UK.
