John Woolford is currently Research Professor at the University of Sheffield. Previously, he taught at the university of Manchester, and before that at King’s College London and Cambridge University. With Daniel Karlin and Joseph Phelan, he is editor of the ongoing Longman Annotated English Poets edition of the poems of Robert Browning (3 volumes to date), and author of Browning the Revisionary (Macmillan, 1988), Robert Browning (Longman, 1996) and Robert Browning (Northcote, 2007).
