Hyun-Jung Lee received her PhD in English from Northwestern University. Specializing in Victorian literature, she teaches fiction and poetry from the eighteenth century to the present. Her current project is a book on Victorian depictions of evil that focuses on the way novels helped shape and popularize moral philosophy. Her published works include essays on Sheridan Le Fanu’s Carmilla and T. S. Eliot’s The Waste Land.
