Jean M. Jimenez is a Researcher in English Language and Translation at the Department of Cultures, Education, and Society, University of Calabria (Italy), where she teaches English for Academic Purposes and English for Specific Purposes to undergraduate and graduate students majoring in Business Administration, Education, and Political Science. She is part of the Advisory Board of the University Language Centre, where she is co-coordinator of the Test Development Team responsible for the design and development of EFL tests for university students. She has participated in several national and European Projects, including the ‘Progetto ClaC’ as well as the award-winning ‘CMC_E Communicating in Multilingual Contexts meets Enterprises’. She holds a PhD in Applied Linguistics from Lancaster University, UK. Her main research interests include Second Language Acquisition, Corrective Feedback in Computer Assisted Language Learning, Language Testing, and the use of Corpus Linguistics in the Second Language Classroom. She has presented papers at national and international conferences in Europe and North America.
