Stefania D’Alessio teaches English language at the Italian Secondary School. She took her Phd at the University of Bari, specializing in English for special purposes. She is contract professor of English language at the Faculty of Medicine at “Federico II” University of Naples and at the Second University of Naples. In 2006, she was awarded of the European Language Label Prize by the Italian Ministry for Education and Isfol-National LLP Agency, that encourages new initiatives, regarding new techniques in the field of teaching/learning foreign languages. She has published several articles, glossaries and one book on translation studies.
