Katherine Tucker McGinnis

Katherine Tucker McGinnis studies early modern european social history, especially italian, focusing on court culture and the rise of the profession of dancing master. She has written extensively on Cesare Negri, including the entry in the Dizionario biografico degli italiani. Dr. McGinnis taught at Guilford College, Washington and Lee University, the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and the North Carolina School of the Arts. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, the University of California Los Angeles, and the College of William and Mary.
