Navjot Hothi graduated in the year 2004 from St. Bede’s College, Shimla and secured 1st position in the College in B.Sc (Non-Medical Stream). She completed her masters from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. Subsequently, she pursued Ph.D in High Energy Physics from Kumaun University, Nainital. She received the R.F.S.M.S. (Research Fellowship in Science for Meritorious Students) fellowship of U.G.C. (J.R.F and S.R.F) for 4.5 years, while pursuing research.
She has 20 international and national publications to her credit. She has a research experience of 11 years and teaching experience of almost 7 years. She taught in Kumaun University (Nainital) and Chitkara University (Punjab) as RFSMS fellow and Assistant Professor respectively.
Presently, she is serving as Assistant Professor in the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES), Dehradun, India. She has attended 19 international/national conferences, seminars and workshops and has actively presented her work there.
At the age of 13, she was awarded the prestigious National Scholarship by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, for Sitarwadan.
