Barbara Stenni is an associate professor (GEO-08 Geochemistry and Vulcanology) at the Department of Environmental Sciences, Informatics and Statistics (DAIS) at University Ca’ Foscari of Venice since 2014. His research activity is focused mainly on paleoenvironmental and paleoclimatological studies, with particular emphasis on the climatic interpretation of water stable isotope records (d18O, dD and deuterium excess) of Antarctic and Alpine ice cores as well as to the application of the stable isotope geochemistry to hydrological, oceanographic and glaciological studies.
