Judit Bárdos

Judit Bárdos (www.bardosjudit.hu) was born in Budapest in 1950. In 1973 she graduated at the University ELTE of Budapest with a degree in Hungarian and Russian. In 1980 she earned also a degree in philosophy at the same University. After having obtained, in 1978, a doctoral degree (Dr. univ.) in Aesthetics, she attained a Ph. D. in 1996 in the same subject. Since 1973 she is a lecturer at the Department of Aesthetics of the Arts Faculty of the University ELTE of Budapest. She gives lectures and special seminars in general aesthetics, motion picture aesthetics and history of East–European and Italian motion picture. Her main research field is the film theory of the Russian formalist school and Eisenstein. In these topics she published a number of studies in Hungarian, English and Italian and edited several collective volumes.

Judit Bárdos (www.bardosjudit.hu) è nata a Budapest nel 1950. Nel 1973 si è laureata presso l'Università ELTE di Budapest, con una tesi in ungherese e russo. Nel 1980 ha conseguito anche una laurea in Filosofia presso la stessa Università. Ha conseguito due dottorati in Estetica nel 1978 e nel 1996. Dal 1973 è docente presso il Dipartimento di Estetica della Facoltà di Lettere dell'Università ELTE di Budapest. Tiene lezioni e seminari in Estetica generale ed Estetica del cinema. Il suo principale campo di ricerca è la teoria cinematografica della scuola formalista russa ed Eisenstein. Su questi argomenti ha pubblicato una serie di studi in ungherese, inglese e italiano e ha curato diversi volumi collettivi.
