Born in Ankara in 1969. (BFA) Gazi University, Department of Art Education in 1992. He received his M.A. in Fine Arts from Hacettepe University in 1998, his Proficiency in Fine Arts from the same University in 2001 Sahiner became an Associate Professor in 2005 and full Professor in 2012. Professor Sahiner has taken part in many group exhibitions as well as11 solo ones at home. Sahiner has also participated in many national and international congress and symposiums and gave conferences. Professor Sahiner’s first book “The Postmodern Transformations in Art and Deconstruction of Modernity” has published in 2008. He is currently Professor of Combined Arts Deparment at the Yildiz Technical University’s Faculty of Art and Design and also gives theoretical lectures in Işık University Fine Arts Faculty’s BA and MA programmes.
