Antonio Freddi holds an Advanced Master’s degree in International Politics (University of Bologna), a Master’s degree in Human Rights and Conflict Management (Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies), a Doctorate of Research (PhD) in Philosophy (University of Eastern Piedmont “A. Avogadro”), a Master Degree in Philosophy (University of Parma), a Diploma in Emergency and Humanitarian Assistance (ISPI, Milan), a Diploma in Geopolitics and Global Security (ISPI, Milan), a Post-Master Specialization in Didactics (University of Parma) and a Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering (University of Parma). He is presently attending a Master’s degree in International Relations at the University of Parma.He worked as an assistant at the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights and at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He addressed the issue of peace working with think tanks in Italy and Switzerland, but he also gained field experience with NGOs in cooperation programs in Sierra Leone and in refugee protection in Greece. He worked as research assistant in contemporary philosophy at University of Eastern Piedmont and at the University of Princeton and has been collaborating as research fellow on social science with Accademia Cattolica in Brescia. Last, but not least, he has worked as a consultant, editor, journalist, high school teacher and engineer. He already published a monography, several articles and short essays in academic and scientific journals on philosophy, human rights, international humanitarian law, conflicts and interculturalism.
