Judith Siegmund studied fine art (Dresden, Stuttgart) and philosophy (FU Berlin, Potsdam). She is an Assistant Professor of Formal Aesthetics with a specialization in Gender Theory at the University of Fine Arts (Berlin). Her research and publications deal mainly with aesthetics (production and the aesthetic of reception), political theory, the concept of work, as well as art theory and art praxis.
