Roberta Iannacito–Provenzano (Ph.D. Italian Studies, University of Toronto) is currently Associate Professor in the Department of Languages, Literatures and Linguistics at York University. She has published on the history of the Molise region and on its dialects, on social media, language and ethnicity. Her current research interests include culinary linguistics, food and Italian culture, dialect theatre, social media and language use online.
