Hsiao Ping Peng

Hsiao Ping Peng specialized in the study of industrial economics initially. After learned the teaching materials from Professor Ming Chung Chang about the application of Confucianism in economics, Hsiao Ping was enlightened, and she decided to expand her research fields on both industrial economics and economic thought. The past-present-future works of Professor Ming Chung Chang and Hsiao Ping Peng focus on revealing the truth behind the veil about the capitalism. In their viewpoints, capitalism is “the zone of both the anti-market and anti-democracy”. They find the theory of Adam Smith and Confucianism, both of them favor an agricultural system of political economy, could contribute to set up a comprehensive and systemic framework to criticize the capitalism appropriately.
