Prof. Mirko Perano is an Associate Professor at the Department of Management & Innovation Systems, University of Salerno (Italy).
He teaches Strategic Management, Knowledge and Risk Management, Business Ethics and Corporate Intelligence.
He holds a double PhD, (University of Rome “La Sapienza” (Italy) and University of Huelva (Spain)).
From 2016 to 2019, he served as Vice-Rector and Director of the Department of Management at Reald University College (Albania).
He is also the Founder and Scientific Director of the International Research Center K.R.E.S.S.M. Lab (Knowledge, Risk and Sustainable Strategic Management Lab) and Q-ETIS Lab (Quantum-Emerging Technologies for Intelligence and Strategy Research Lab), both based at the University of Salerno (IT).
His research focuses on strategic and knowledge and risk management, corporate intelligence, business ethics, value co-creation, and the role of emerging technologies in the innovation processes.
He actively contributes to academic and applied research at the intersection of management science and organizational transformation.
He is the author of over 100 scientific publications, many of which appear in leading journals indexed in Scopus and Web of Science, such as Technological Forecasting and Social Change, Journal of Knowledge Management, and British Food Journal.
Prof. Mirko Perano covers the role of Editor in Chief of the Journal of Knowledge, Risk and Sustainable Management (Emerald Publishing), serves as Associate Editor for some journals such as Business Ethics, the Environment & Responsibility and Enlightening Tourism, and is member of the editorial board of top-tier journals such as Long Range Planning and Journal of Knowledge Management.
