Giuseppe Tiberti (Brescia, Italy, 1977) obtained both his Master degree in Civil Engineering (2004) and Ph.D. degree in Materials for Engineering (2009) from the University of Brescia. From 2009 to 2013, he has worked as a post-doctoral fellow in the Department of Civil, Environmental, Architectural Engineering and Mathematics of the University of Brescia, where is currently working as an Assistant Professor in Structural Engineering. His research interests include mechanical characterization of fiber reinforced concrete (FRC), concrete and reinforced concrete structures, non-linear numerical analyses of RC and FRC structures with particular reference to tunnel linings made by precast segments.
