Luca Facconi was born in Orzinuovi, Italy, on March, 15 1981. He obtained his Master (2008) and Ph.D. (2012) degrees in Civil Engineering from the University of Brescia, Italy. Since 2012 he has worked as a post-doctoral fellow in the Department of Civil Engineering of the University of Brescia. His research topics include characterization of concrete and fiber reinforced concrete, experimental investigations and numerical modeling of reinforced concrete, fiber reinforced concrete, and masonry structures.
