Karin Knešaurek
Dr. Karin Knešaurek is a nuclear medicine physicist and Associate Professor of Radiology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. His general areas of interest and research are: PET/MRI, PET/CT and SPECT/CT including, image reconstruction and restoration, kinetic modeling of myocardial blood flow, Alzheimer’s disease computer diagnosis, image fusion of different modalities, and radiotherapy models. In 2008 he and his team won SNM image of the year. He has been a full member of SNM, EANM, IEEE and AAPM. Dr. Karin Knešaurek je has been NIH reviewer, IAEA consultant and reviewer of the best Nuclear Medicine and Medical Physics journals like JNMMI, EJNMMI, MP and others. He has published more than 50 scientific papers, mostly as a first author, and over 120 abstracts.
