She graduated in Mathematics (2004) magna cum laude at the University of Naples (Italy) with specific focus on applied mathematics studies. After the graduation she holds a Ph.D. degree in Mathematical and Computer Science (2008) with thesis focusing on stochastic self-similar processes and application in non-linear dynamical systems. She has had many experience in different research field: Stochastic processes and stochastic self-similar processes and applications, Dynamic systems, Fractals, Probability and Statistics (data analysis and machine learning). After the Ph.D degree she was holder of Marie Curie scholarships at the Université Catholique de Louvain (Belgium) and of post-doctoral position scholarships at the ULB (Belgium). From January 2009, she was researcher at ENEA – R.C Casaccia (Rome)- within ICT Division where she works on ICT for energy efficiency sector with particular reference to Data Centres facilities in Smart Cities Context. In details, Energy Efficiency technologies in Data Centres for identification and definition of energy metrics methodology, benchmarks and standards. She is an European Commission Expert as review/evaluator in the field of ICT for energy efficiency and Smart cities for some FP7, Horizon2020, FET projects. She also was Assistant Professor in Mathematical Applications(Quantitative methods) to Link Campus University (Rome).
