Aitor Zurimendi Isla

Aitor Zurimendi Isla from 1999 to 2002 has been Pre-doctorate research internship; dal 2003 al 2009 Professor Doctor in Commercial Law (UPV/EHU); dal 2009 al 2018 Associate Professor in Commercial Law. In this same period, he has also coordinated the Sector of the Economy and Business Sciences Faculty of the Business Law Department, Vice dean for Quality and Innovation in the same Faculty, and Coordinator for the Advisory Service for Education in the University of the Basque Country.
Nel 2018 he became Full Professor in Commercial Law.
From October 2015 to October 2019 he is Associate Chief Executive at Unibasq- Agency for Quality Assurance of the Basque University System.
His research focuses on the following topics: Commercial Paper, Transportation Law, Competition Law, Consumer Protection.
Among his related publications: Six monographs, four of them co-authored. Twenty-five articles in magazines and twenty two chapters in collective books.
He also participated in fifteen research projects and five research projects in public and private entities.Has been a speaker in seventy Congresses and Workshops and taken part in scientific event Committees.Furthermore, three research visits in Münich, Freiburg and Oxford.
Participates or has participated in editing or academic management in five magazines.
