María Pilar García Cuetos

Maria Pilar Garcia Cuetos is a doctor in Art History. She teaches as full professor of Art History at the University of Oviedo since 1992. She has been Assistant in the Departamento de Expresión Grafica de la Arquitectura de la Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Sevilla and teacher in masters and Ph. D. Courses in the Schools of Architecture at La Coruña and Seville and at the Polytechnic University of Valencia, and in the Faculties of Castilla-La Mancha, Zaragoza and Santiago de Compostela. His researches focus on the theory and history of architectural restoration. His publications include: El prerrománico asturiano (1844-1976): historia de la arquitectura y restauración (1999); Castilla León y la primera zona monumental (2007, co-authored with Julian Esteban Chapapría); Umilde condición. El patrimonio acutal y la conservación de su autenticidad (2009).
