The doctor’s degree (PhD) in economics sciences in 1998, habilitated in 2013, actually “profesor nadzwyczajny” – CUE Associate Professor.
The major area of scientific interests, related activities and publications focus on three areas: structural changes and economic transformations in the business sector (effectiveness, ownership changes, micro and meso–economic approach); economic rationale of corporate functioning–effective management of capital and assets, measurement of value (corporate economic and financial analyses, corporate valuations, financial management, assessments of investment projects); monitoring and identification of threats to going concern, support mechanisms (early warning systems, risk of business failure, multiple variable models of discriminant analysis).
