Felicia Dumas is a Habilitated University Professor, PhD at the Faculty of Letters (Department of French) of “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iasi, Romania. Having authored a Bilingual (Romanian-French and French-Romanian) Dictionary of Orthodox Religious Terms and other five books, and having co-authored two more, Felicia Dumas has published numerous articles and studies in the semiotics of Orthodox liturgical gestures, in the Orthodox terminology in French and in the French-Romanian biligualism in Romanian and foreign magazines. She has translated several books of Orthodox spirituality fom French into Romanian. She is married and she is the mother of a son.
