Adina Hulubaş is a Senior Researcher at the Department of Ethnography and Folklore, the “A. Philippide” Institute of Romanian Philology – the Iaşi Subsidiary of the Romanian Academy, Romania. She has published three books and several articles in journals from Romania, The Republic of Moldova, United Kingdom and Estonia. The Romanian Academy awarded her the “Bogdan Petriceicu Hasdeu” distinction for the book Obiceiuri de naştere din Moldova. Tipologie şi corpus de texte [Childbirth Traditions from Moldova.
