Dr. Alina-Mihaela Pricop is a postdoctoral Researcher at the Department of Lexicology and Lexicography, the “A. Philippide” Institute of Romanian Philology – the Iasi Branch of the Romanian Academy, Romania. Her areas of competence are: lexicology, semantics, Romanian and Romance lexicography, history of Romanian language, Romanian prosody. She is the author of a book (Câmpul lexical al numelor de rudenie în limba română, Iasi, Demiurg Publishing House, 2015) and several articles on lexical field, prototype theory, and terminologies. She is a member of the teams of the projects: Romanian Meteorological Scientific and Popular Terminology of the Atmospheric Phenomena. Linguistic Study (coordinated by Dr. Cristina Florescu) and Dictionnaire Étymologique Roman (coordinated by Dr. Eva Buchi and Dr. Wolfgang Schweickard).
