Francesco Flammini got with honors his laurea and doctorate degrees in Computer Engineering from the University Federico II of Naples. Since 2003 he has worked on the dependability of real-time control systems and on the security of transportation infrastructures. He has taught Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Dependability and Risk Assessment. He has served as a chairman, an invited speaker, a member of the International Program Committee and an editor for several international conferences and journals. He is Vice-Chair of the IEEE Computer Society Italy.
