Nevila Nika is graduated on History at the University of Tirana, in 1976. During 1976 - 2005 she worked at the Central State Archive in Tirana and during 2005-2013 she hold the post of General Director of Archives of the Republic of Albania. In 2014 she worked as Director of the Parliament Publication Service and from March 2015 she is part of the academic staff of the European University of Tirana. She holds the academic title Professor on Historical Sciences. She has published several books like The Diocese of Shkodra in the 18th century through archival manuscripts; Anti-Ottoman uprisings during1910-1912; The Jews in Albanian Archives; Puglia and Albania nel Novecento; archival guidebooks Personal and Family funds and The document in French in personal and family funds; systematic catalogs on documents from 6th century to 1912; catalog on Second World War; many presentation and papers in and outside Albania on historical and archival issues.
