Lucio Litti, currently (2017) working at the Nanostructures & Optic Laboratory group at the Department of Chemical Sciences in the University of Padova. Ph.D. in Material Science and Engineering in 2015 and master's degree in Chemical Sciences in 2011. His current fields of research are related to the functionalization of Gold Nanoparticles for diagnostic and analytical applications. The nanosystems are functionalized to reach their target and to be detected by Surface Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy. Some other interests are the synthesis of diagnostic tools usefull with a multi-technical approach (like SERS, MRI, radiolabeling) or the development of portable analytical devices based on SERS.
