Rafaela Božić has been an associate professor at the University of Zadar since 1993. She was head of division of Russian language and literature from 2011 to 2014, and has been head of department of Croatian and Slavic studies since 2013. She held guest lectures at universities in Saint Petersburg, Moscow, Ljubljana and Graz. Her fields of interest include linguo-stylistics, literary translation, dystopia and Iosif Brodsky.
